Wardrobe - What to wear for your photo shoot.
To look fabulous you must feel fabulous. Ideas on what to bring - Off the shoulder, asymmetrical, lace, sweetheart neckline, scalloped neckline, strapless, sequins, glam, figure hugging, chiffon, textured, white with denim, jackets, pantsuits. Your wardrobe will really guide the style of your session. Glam, boho, classic, corporate, colourful. Bring it all.
90% of the time we don’t photograph full length (feet) , so no need to bring matching shoes for all outfits. However if you do have a favourite pair of heels you want to include then of course bring them along. Pack one pair just in case.
Jewellery (especially earrings)
Hats - Flower crowns/headpieces
Underwear for different outfits (strapless bra)
If you are wanting photos to promote your business, bring clothes that you reflect your professional side.
Avoid wearing clothes that look too casual. A plain round neck t-shirt can look great with a jacket.
Tips to prepare.
Schedule a trip to the hairdressers 1 week before you photo session date so to have fresh colour and cut ready for styling.
Wash your hair the night before (not the morning of) so to arrive with clean and dry hair.
Book a manicure if that is something you enjoy having done. Not at all necessary, but makes you feel good.
Prepare your wardrobe and what you are bringing 1 week ahead. This gives you time to wash, iron and prepare.
If you organise ahead you will enjoy the photo shoot experience so much more.
